I would say that it would be okay if we could go one less day a week, but that would only give us the same amount of time we have now. I think it would be okay, though. I really would rather go to 4 days a week, but if we have to add time to the day to have three months it would be okay.
My question is that if the days are longer, and the Summer Vacation is longer, would we still have the same amount of breaks during the school year?
I go back and forth on that. Sometimes I would rather go all 180 days and get it over with, but some other times I like the breaks. It all depends on how the school year is going.
Something i'm not going to like is if we go back to the 7 classes per day, like middle school. I like the block schedule.
Well, I guess i'll have to rethink that if we add 40 minutes to the day.
I don't know. There's a lot of circumstances that decide whether I really want longer days, but in the long run, I think it'll be okay.
